This year marks the 10th anniversary of Northern Winds. A decade of holding sacred space, witnessing transformation, and walking alongside hundreds of courageous souls on their healing journeys.
Over this carefully curated long weekend, you'll be guided through two powerful Amazonian plant medicine ceremonies within an intimate and supportive 8-week container. Your journey begins well before you arrive, through intentional preparation, and continues long after the retreat with dedicated integration and ongoing support.

My weekend at the northern winds retreat with Brother Dane and the entire Lumius collective crew was absolutely nothing short of transformative. I already knew and felt safe in the company of Dane, Dan, Angie, Kelsey and Sandra and felt among family and well cared for and well fed, but I had no idea how much the retreat would exceed my expectations.
To say that the weekend was life altering would be an understatement. The journeys were ethereal, magical and sacred. Spiritual psychotherapy at its best with lessons learned that cannot be unlearned. Insights that will carry me through my days forward. Breathwork sessions are so powerful it feels otherworldly, sound baths that take you to other realms too beautiful to convey with words. I left with an immense level of awe, joy and gratitude to have had the blessings of being part of this beautiful tribe that renewed my hope in humanity and our capacity to heal thru love and community. Simply cannot wait for the privilege to join them again!

A Sacred Space in Nature
Two hours from the city and a world away from it. Our home for these four days sits surrounded by forest, and a beautiful lake. A large sacred fire pit, a wood sauna, and a private stretch of lake shore. Space to journal, to rest, to sit by the water and simply be, unplugged from the matrix and the noise of daily life.

Angela Tobon
Curandera (Medicine Woman)
Head Facilitator
Mama Angie is a Spiritual Guide, Healer, Teacher, and Mentor and has studied and practiced ancient and modern energy medicine practices for many years.
Her childhood memories as a free and wild child roaming her family's land, fully connected to nature and elements. The memories of her time with her wise curandero (Shaman) grandfather, his guidance, wisdom and spiritual presence, gave her confidence to trust her awakening and pursue her true nature's purpose.
Angie was trained to go deep in the Jungle in search of the sacred plants such as Chirripanga, Piton, Ayahuma, Tobacco, Ayahuasca, and other powerful cleansing, expanding and purifying plant medicines.
She learned ceremonial ways of picking the sacred plant and how to brew them in ways to conserve the sacredness and the magic powers of the plants.
Her life experience, continual learning, and knowledge brings elder wisdom, and a deep, spiritual, emotional, physical and sacred connection while serving the plant medicine. Angie has also been an active Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Reiki Master Teacher for over a decade. Combining these powerful ancient healing modalities to assist and support in people's healing journeys.
Guided by her passion and personal desire to become empowered to serve and heal, she wishes to convey this harmonious state of being to those who have a desire to be guided and to learn more about their spirituality.
She learned and understood that we are indeed beings of energy and not just dense mass. We are fully supported by our Pachamama, the sacred plants, Taita Inti (the Sun), beings of light and beyond.
Angie reminds us that we are connected to an infinite source of energy, that was never born and that never dies.
Dane Osorio
Co-Facilitator
Dane Osorio is a shamanic healing artist, holistic practitioner, educator, facilitator, and curator of conscious community. Dane is first born to his mother Angie Tobon and their Colombian roots where his great grandfather served as a curandero in their small town in the Andean Highlands. Dane has been working with plant medicines deeply for the past 10 years, learning from an Ayahuascero in the deep lush jungle in the Diamante Valley of Costa Rica. He has also been a lifelong student of his mother Angie Tobon, a curandera trained by her grandfather in Colombia and as well in the Amazon. Dane has served in hundreds of ceremonies as a helper, guide, space holder, and co-facilitator. Dane stepped into facilitator role with the blessing by his teacher from Costa Rica in 2020, and his mother whom he still works with. in 2023 Dane met and received a personal blessing from Taita Sandro and Taita Edison sons of the Great Elder Taita Abuelo Humberto of the Sionas Tribe of Putumayo, Amazonias.
With a high level of intention, intuition, experience and grounded presence, Dane holds a safe and sacred space for you to dive as deep as you need to go. Dane guides and teaches tools and practices that can help you in your preparations, during the retreat and after through integration.
With the guidance of spiritual teachers, healers, shamans, his ancestry lineage, shamanic arts & continuous studies, Dane has learned, processed and integrated many practices in his life to achieve a higher level of connection, wisdom and consciousness. He is aligned to his calling, clear and passionate about teaching and guiding others to tap into their own inner healer, inner guru and inner shaman and inner leader.
Dane is also a Reiki Master, Meditation & Yoga Teacher, Sound Healing Practitioner, Breathwork Facilitator, Spiritual Life Coach, Plant Medicine Guide, Facilitator and Mentor.
Dan Andronescu
Support Facilitator
Daan has been intuitively working with entheogens individually and in ceremony settings for over a decade. He is passionate about navigating altered states of consciousness for the purpose of expanding Self awareness and to inspire the inner purpose of Self-discovery and remembrance that we all share. He believes that entheogens are the most advanced technology we have access to to explore consciousness and life force in the quantum fields and to remember the infinite potential stored within.
His strengths are in cultivating practices and tools to prepare for and to integrate expanded states of consciousness. Daan is a Self-discovery and integration guide, yoga aspirant and instructor, functional breath-control coach, natural movement trainer and founder of OmniBeing Ascension.
Daan brings his grounding, divine masculine presence and stewards the sacred fire throughout the retreat. He holds space, and offers his support with the embodied wisdom of his holistic practices.
Kelsey Marie Acorn
Support Facilitator
Kelsey began her wellness journey as an integrative nutrition gut health coach working alongside natural doctors and therapists in a virtual clinical setting. As she began working with clients to navigate their digestive issues physically she soon realized that a lot of it was in correlation with energetic and emotional suppressed energy and traumas. She went on to become certified in birth imprints and childhood trauma informed coaching as well as somatic breath work facilitation.
Kelsey works 1:1 with women going through big life transitions and transformations supporting them with energy healing, Breathwork, somatic experiencing, nervous system regulation, and neurological emotional, psychological questioning. Kelsey is a somatic practitioner trained with the workings of Peter Levine.
Today, she helps her clients get to the root of their traumas, challenges, and wounds to fully release them from the cells, tissues, and organs of their bodies. Creating a healthier, happier, more optimistic lifestyle. She is able to help her clients do this by identifying limiting beliefs, toxic thought patterns, and deep rooted programs and conditioning from childhood. Since working through her own struggles with substance abuse and relational attachment wounds/ traumas Kelsey found plant medicines as the true catalyst for her spiritual growth and transformation.
She now is trained in a clinical setting background to educate clients on the importance of preparation, ceremony with intention, and the integration of plant medicines with Dimensions Retreat Centre. Kelsey uses her toolbox of authentic healing modalities inside and outside of sacred ceremonies to help her clients unlock their true purpose, passion, and meaning in life with a focus on getting to the root of the core issues.

"When I saw this retreat I intuitively knew I had to attend. Although I had a lot of energy moving through me physically and emotionally that wasn’t the most “comfortable” this was an incredible and insightful journey. It was simultaneously the most difficult and yet, the most healing week I’ve ever experienced. It truly did feel like months of extensive psychotherapy condensed into one weekend.
Now, I’ve been home for just over a month and I’m still feeling the magic of the medicine. This container was very sacred and very powerful. Knowing what I know now, I would never attend a medicine retreat if it wasn’t small in participant numbers. I felt so supported by all the shamans and facilitators. "Northern Winds is hands down the best medicine experience I've ever had - and I'm a veteran.
It's not just a hippie-healing situation, this is a family tradition passed down for generations - this is a family practice. The facilitators really want to get to know you. The help is there before, during and after ceremony. When I say 'help', I mean LOVE, and you really feel it. There is constant support, which is so necessary, as the changes are profound.
The live music/sound bath is second to none, and the care in music choice is insane(good). Breath work was a real breakthrough for me as well. These people are the real deal, and I hope you the reader gets to experience this type of healing. This is the gold standard.
